15 Year Old Warehouse
Da Original
I remember back when I was either 14 or 15 years old, I got peer pressured into freestyling (which I was so bad at, I bet I was technically the worst freestyler on earth at that exact moment). But I thrusted my way through the hatorade mist and kept going. I had to one up my group of rapping friends and after maybe a year or two of practicing I would be the first amongst the group to release a song. A mean little song dissing my homeboy for not believing in me though... ha... Pick Your Poison. PS. Random old songs of mine will be scattered between the paragraphs of this blog..
Warehouse Ft. Ammo - Diss On Justin (circa. 2005)
I played it in front of two of my friends (including the kid I was dissing on, not sinister dissing just making fun of his ass) as they listened in awe. Lmfao they were hella pissed off. They tried not to show it but you could tell just by the veins bulging in their eyeballs. That shit was hillllllarious. I'll never forget that moment.
one of my favorite amateur songs (circa. 2005)
"Pick Your Poison" may have been the first song that I officially released for the public to hear (mostly just my friends though), but that actually wasn't the first song I recorded. That song would happen to be a song called Deadbeat.... around a year later I remixed that into anther diss on some girl that really pissed me off at da time (yes, I was a dick, I know). But she really really REALLY pissed me off. lol, I present to you, Slut-Whore ladies and gentlemen. This song... man... this shit became so freaking popular in Perry Hall it blew my mind. Love how people used to blast it in the high school library and enrage the administration office right across the hall, not to mention the poor librarian lmao. Legendary I know. It was like... a local virus going around. Scary shit at the time lol not gonna lie.
my first music video (circa. 2009)
Ya know what?... I'm not even sure which one I released first between "Deadbeat" and "Pick Your Poison" but basically these were the very first two Warehouse songs. On "Deadbeat" I just dissed the shit out of my homeboy because he made fun of my dream of becoming a rapper so damn much. Sorry to prove everybody so wrong, bwahahaha. I had noooooo support at ALL when I first started rapping. Websites with rap forums ripped my self esteem to shreds despite not even knowing me, but I still kept going. I jumped from site to site only to be considered Darth vader everywhere I presented my music... except for a few great friends and an awesome group of people I knew in high school. I know youz guys will probably never get to see this blog, but I would especially like to thank my manz Pat Quinn. Also his entire clique .... you guys really made an impact in my confidence. I was nothing but an outcast before you guys embraced me and thats the main reason I was ever noticed locally for my music at all. Seriously, thank you all so much, sorry I don't remember all your names. I might not be where I am today if it weren't for ya'llz unconditional support. You probably had no idea how much influence you had on the evolution of Warehouse and I'll never forget that shit. Lol... and to think... you guys were considered the most popular mofos in school too... Class of 2008!!! OHHH EIIGGHT REPRESENT!!!! Best year of my life, miss the memories. You can find all of my songs released during my high school era right here... Warehouse " The High School Era"
one of my favorite music videos (circa. 2009)
(I Didn't make many music videos but I managed to squeeze out a couple before my video camera broke...)
Seems like once I graduated from high school things went to shit from there in one downward gruesome spiral of less and less parties... less and less opportunities to connect with the public. Since then I have just been using youtube and occasionally soundclick and twitter but have goals of expanding onto even more websites. I still haven't got back into the rap forums, they are just so damn brutal, but I'll get back to it eventually. As for now I'm pretty comfortable (perhaps too comfortable) coasting along releasing freestyles every now and then and more uncommonly a written song. I have been dabbling in vlogging and hope to start uploading some awesome vlogs soon. I don't plan to ever quit, so it's a safe bet to follow me on any website.
Warehouse - Sincerely, Your Best Friend (Circa. 2006)
Definitely can't forget about my sick lil' jamz wit' my all time best friend Charles...
